A well-organized overview of the advertising business, Hey, Whipple, Squeeze This has lots of useful tidbits about making good ads and surviving in a competitive field. My main complaint is that it doesn’t delve as deeply as it could. The chapters are short, easy to read, and conversational - like a good ad, one might say. It’s definitely something I’m going to keep for quick reference and inspiration, but it would have been nice to have something a bit meatier.
